Details :
- Material : White Labradorite & Onyx and sterling silver
- Dimensions : about 5,1cm high (from the top of the stud earring, to the bottom of the lower stone). The fan shaped element is about 2,8cm wide. (Click here to convert cm to inches).
- Backings : sturdy butterfly in silver
- The stones I use are natural, and some of them sometimes come with natural inclusions and surface imperfections. These in no way deter from their beauty.
- How to wear ear jackets :
They are composed of 2 parts : a pair of stud earrings + a pair of fan-shaped plates.
To wear ear jackets simply insert the stud earring through your ear, place the fan plate on the ear-post behind your lobe, and block it with the little backing.
The fan plate will seam to float on your ear!
You can of course enjoy the stud earrings worn on their own too, for a minimalistic look.
And with this design, you can wear both parts together as normal earrings (in front of the lobe) - they look incredibly good this way too.
This means you have 3 ways to wear this pair of earrings!
If you want to go even further in playing with their versatility : they can also be worn on removable ear wires or simple silver hoops. You can also purchase another pair of stone stud earrings from the Elira earrings page, to enjoy combining them with your Aina earrings.
Packaging & care
Your piece arrives in a recycled cardboard box, wrapped and ready to be given, with a little card telling you how to take care of it.
Silver darkens with time. It is what silver does, and a soft polishing cloth brings it back. Take it off before swimming, showering or sleeping, and keep it away from perfume and cream.

The story of this piece
Unique ear jacket earrings
Aina means "always" in Finnish
These silver earrings can be worn in 3 different ways (read "how to wear ear jackets" below). Their fringe dangles playfully as you move.
~ I chose this name for its feeling of eternal and playful freedom
The Aina earrings are very lightweight despite their size. They feature ethnic or real plant patterns, in a balance of lines and curves. The stones add life and color.
The stud earrings can be worn by themselves too (without the dangling part of the earrings), for a minimalistic look!
Just like with all the jewels I create, I deeply hope this unique piece will, with its presence, bring a beautiful energy to the human who will wear it!

The piece you see in the photos is the one that will arrive to you, not another one made to look like it.
I set every stone by hand, so no two pieces come out the same shape. When this one finds its human, the stone leaves with it.
