Details :
- Material : brass and silver
- Color : golden with oxidized finish, highlighting the ethnic patterns. Brass bowl earrings
- Dimensions : about 2,7cm wide * 1,7cm from the bottom to the point of the fan (1,06 * 0,66")
- Backings : You will receive different little backings so you can decide for yourself what feels more confortable. Note that the silver colored backings aren't silver : if you are sensitive to allergies feel free to ask me 2 pairs of rubber backings instead of one of each.
- NOTE: The look of the earrings may vary depending on the size of your earlobes and where the piercing is placed. The hight of this design cannot be adjusted - there is only one hole.
If you want to measure your ear to figure out how much of the fan will be visible behind your lobe, measure your ear from the piercing hole to the bottom of your lobe.
The fan measures ±1,5cm (0,59"), from the little hole to the bottom of the fan.
Packaging & care
Your piece arrives in a recycled cardboard box, wrapped and ready to be given, with a little card telling you how to take care of it.
Silver darkens with time. It is what silver does, and a soft polishing cloth brings it back. Take it off before swimming, showering or sleeping, and keep it away from perfume and cream.

The story of this piece
Unique Aela ear jackets earrings in brass & silver, with ethnic patterns.
The price includes a pair of fan-plates + a pair of stud earrings (with silver ear posts to avoid allergies)
About the Aela ear jacket system :
Ear jackets are earrings that are worn behind the ear lobe.
They are composed of 2 parts : a pair of stud earrings + a pair of fan-shaped plates with a little hole.
1. To wear ear jackets simply insert the stud earring through your ear, place the fan plate on the ear-post behind your lobe, and block it with the little backing.
The fan plate will seam to float on your ear!
2. You can of course enjoy the stud earrings worn on their own too, for a minimalistic look.
3. And with this design, you can wear both parts together as normal earrings (in front of the lobe) - they look incredibly good this way too.
This means you have 3 ways to wear this pair of earrings!
...and if you want to go for aneven more versatile set, you can get yourself removable ear-wires, or thin silver hoops - that combine beautifully with the fan-plates, transforming them into dangling earrings.

I set every stone by hand, so no two pieces come out the same shape. When this one finds its human, the stone leaves with it.
