What would a good size-fit be when buying a ring with a stone?

Having some weight to them due to the stone, if you get a size that is a little bit too big, the ring will wiggle around from one side to the other on your finger.

Figuring out your correct ring size is therefor very important in order for the ring to be comfortable.
