Unique pendant in silver with chrysocolla.
It's ready to ship : you will receive the exact one visible on the photos.

...there's a little story behind the creation of this pendant ...
right at the finishing step of setting the stone, it cracked and broke.
This isn’t the first time (nor the last 😂) it happens, and I could have remained in a state of victimising myself for all this time and care that went into a jewel, that broke at the very last moment.

I shared about the broken stone in my stories on instagram, and many of you recommended trying out Kintsugi.
And though my first internal (victimising) reaction was « I don’t know how to do that… I don’t have that capacity… I’ll just be loosing more time if I try to figure something out… I should just break it a part and forget about it… »

I then remembered and reconnected to something @rebeca.awaken told me in our human design session, some time ago. It’s how empowering it is for me to MAKE MISTAKES.

And I thought, hmm! Instead of putting this broken jewel in the dark corner of my workspace (where I abandon that kind of pieces)… why not just experiment, freely? Take a small risk, on this “lost piece”. Go over the fear of it not working out. And enjoy trying, inventing, experimenting something new.

These thoughts, connected me to the feeling of LIVING! To LIVE, PLAY through experimenting. Through doing something even if you don’t know how it’ll turn out.

This morning I listened to the new podcast episode of my friend @sylvieplanchecoach , which is just about that, about taking RISKS. I recommend you to listen to it if you understand French 🙂

Anyway, here’s the result of this experiment! And I love it!! I love love love how the silver dust sparks inside the stone crack.
So thank you to everyone who recommended Kintsugi. I made a home made variation of that art, playing freely at the bench.

And now I have an even more special jewel to offer to you !

In this video you can see how it looks like worn

The back of the stone hides a real carrot leaf imprint (more about the process below).

It automatically comes on a 42cm silver chain, with a 4,5cm extender.
But if you prefer a 37cm or a 51cm chain, simply let me know in the little note in your cart, or in an email after your purchase.
(You can get a view of the chain length at the bottom of this page)

Details :

• Material : Chrysocolla and sterling silver
• Dimensions : about 7cm high (excluding the little jumprings connecting the pendant to the chain) (Click here to convert cm to inches)
• Color : silver metal. The stone has a lot of black-ish areas, mixed with turquoise green tones

• Packaging : I pay a lot of attention to the packaging, it comes ready to gift
• Care : You will receive care instructions together with your order
• Ready to ship (click here and check Category 3 for current shipping info)
• Free shipping with tracking service
• Completely handmade by my only two hands. I use metal sheets, wire and balls. I solder, file, sand, dome, hammer, saw,... Metal is my muse!
• The stones I use are natural, and some of them sometimes come with natural inclusions and surface imperfections. These in no way deter from their beauty.

About the vegetal imprint

The process of "printing" the vegetal/feather onto the metal is a very magical one. It is done using a rolling mill, compressing the dried vegetal onto the metal - leaving a very fine and detailed relief of the plant. I then oxydize the metal - making it fully dark grey, then sand it very softly to reveal the details. Each imprint is truly unique, as is each little plant! You'll have a little piece of Belgian nature adorning your body :)

If you have any question or would like to have any additional information concerning this unique piece, don't hesitate in contacting me ! I'll be happy to get back to you quickly.

Cuff bracelet Size Guide :

cuff bracelet size guide umya jewelry
1. Measure the width of your wrist (right above the prominent "wrist bone"), using a hard ruler. (the wrist pictured has a size 6cm)

2. Already have a cuff that fits? Measure its inner width to find our your size. (It needs to be an oval open cuff bracelet similar to the one pictured)

Recommendations for a not too tight and not too loose fit :
• If your wrist is rather round, and you appear to fit between two sizes, you may choose the size below
• If your wrist is rather flat, and you appear to fit between two sizes, you may choose de upper size.
• You will also very easily be able to adjust the cuff slightly, closing it a little or opening it a little, including adjusting the shape a little, for a perfect fit.
• Need another size? Let me know : it is most likely doable, without extra cost.

Ring size guide

As I get this question a lot : kindly note that coming to my house to measure your finger is not a service I offer. Thank you for your understanding ! However I will gladly help you by email if you have any doubt or struggle to determine your size, after reading this guide. Do not hesitate to reach out!

Don't know your ring size?

I made a video for you, explaining :

- what a good size fit should be
- how to figure out your size

I highly recommend you to watch it if you're purchasing a ring with a stone, like the Sena or the Kaha ring, as I give specific recommendations for the fit you should look for

You can find it here (and it has French subtitles if needed!)

How to figure out your size :

a • Go to a jewelry shop

Ask for your size in a jewelry shop, they normally always offer that for free and it will take just a minute.

b • Use one of your ring
If you have a ring that perfectly fits the finger you are wanting to buy a ring for : measure its inside diameter :

How to measure the inside diameter of your ring

If you use this method, you can let me know your needed size in the little note in your cart (no need to convert it using the conversion chart).

Very important !
- the ring needs to be perfectly round for a correct measurement (no open ring, no unshaped ring)
- use a thin ring to measure this : if you use a large ring, the size will not be accurate. (it should be less than 5mm/0.196" in width)

If you aren't sure of the size you see, you can send me a picture of your ring on the ruler.

c • Purchase a ring sizer online :
For a few € you can get yourself a ring sizer online. I recommend the kind with multiple rings shown below, which will give you a more precise result

Necklace lengths

The chain lengths offered in my shop are :
37cm
41cm
51cm

These lengths usually come with an additional 4,5cm extender. So for example a 37cm chain with extender, will allow you to adjust the length from 37cm to 41,5cm.
